When I first began to create and sell my works in the 1990’s, there was not an easy way to share the process of creating the sculptures. It was only when I had collectors come for studio visits that I was able to really show them what goes into each piece. Their understanding and perception of taking a sketch through to a fully realized sculpture, brought them closer, on a personal level, to the artwork itself, and created a deeper understanding of my process and vision.

When I discovered instagram a few years ago, it became the ideal vehicle to deliver as close an experience to this as I could think of. In some ways, even better. Using features like video and time lapse video I have been able to capture the key moments in making the artwork.
