LEAF WORKS

 This series of works was born from a shape that became very adaptable. The lotus shaped leaf allowed me to create works with multiple bearing points, at various angles. The wider rounded end made it possible to bring elements in the sculpture tightly together, while the long pointed end swung past the other parts giving a tension and release in the movement that I found so appealing. Below are some examples of how this form emerged.
